“Matērija” (Matter) is a cinematic instrumental trio based in Riga, known for its atmospheric electronics and vivid live improvisation.

Their music moves from intimate sonic textures into breathing melodic landscapes, grounded in groove and rhythm before dissolving into waves of transformed noise. Playing with impulses, they turn sound into substance.

Since forming in 2024, Matērija have been actively performing while developing their debut album.
